Program Overview
watch.ly sends transactional SMS messages to notify you when an AI agent running on your machine requests access to a network destination or protected resource. You can approve or deny the request by replying to the text message. Messages are operational, security-related, and non-marketing.
You may also receive follow-up confirmation messages after an approval or denial action.
How to Opt In
SMS notifications require explicit opt-in through the watch.ly web application. No messages are sent without your consent. The process is:
- Create an account at app.watch.ly
- Go to Settings and enter your mobile phone number
- Verify your phone by entering the one-time verification code sent to your number
- Enable SMS Notifications by checking the SMS checkbox in Notification Preferences
- Accept the consent disclosure by checking the required consent checkbox, which reads:
The consent checkbox is not pre-selected. You must actively check it and click "Save Preferences" to complete enrollment. No messages are sent without this explicit action.

Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your AI agent activity and notification configuration. Messages are only sent when an agent requests access to a destination that requires your approval. You control which agents and destinations trigger notifications.
Opting Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any watch.ly message
- Disabling SMS notifications in your dashboard settings at app.watch.ly
After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed. No more messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help."
After opting out, you will not receive further SMS messages unless you re-enable notifications and re-consent.

Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier. Consent to receive SMS notifications is not a condition of purchasing or using the watch.ly service.
Privacy
Your phone number is shared with Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, solely for the purpose of delivering notifications. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number for marketing purposes. SMS consent records are retained for compliance purposes.
